Struggles

Anguish, sorrow is the struggle for tomorrow

Prayers and dreams are all we have it seems

If I were God for a day, the first thing I would do

Is spread the word that Jesus has plans for you

From the time that you were born, 'til the time you will die

I know you'll understand Jesus will not enjoy seeing you cry

I'd let people know that they are not alone

Just listen to the angels sing

Although life won't always be beautiful

Stand strong through the struggle it will bring

We all must face the future, and we are what we make

Just remember to keep Jesus in your heart, and your soul He'll surely take

I'd rid the world of strife, there would be no disease

With the Lord's prayer, I'd bring peace with the greatest of ease

But the one thing I would make sure of

That you understand what "struggle" means

When Jesus died on the cross for you

Thank Him, for your soul will be clean

So please realize that through your life, there will be some struggles you see

Because if life was so perfect, we wouldn't need anyone to set us free
